Job Opportunity: Marketing Manager

Leeds Rhinos are recruiting a Marketing Manager to oversee key campaigns, communications and creative in line with the marketing strategy to meet company targets for retention, growth, and profitability. This will include working across all business areas – men’s, women’s, and disability rugby as well as netball and the on-site stadium hotel.  

The Marketing Manager will oversee the marketing communications and creative output for all business areas. You will be comfortable and experienced with digital strategy and platforms as well as producing copy for all channels.  You’ll also have a keen eye for creative and a solid understanding of the principles of design.

Responsibilities

Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute the seasonal marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives.

Manage and implement the marketing communications plan, including the writing and distribution of copy for all platforms including social, web and email.

Analyse and present campaign performance to inform future campaign planning and execution.

Be the brand guardian for all business areas. Ensure brand guidelines are up to date, fit for purpose and adhered to.

Be the primary point of contact for all creative requests.

Interrogate, challenge and mine briefs for insight and clarity, minimizing the need for multiple amends.

Support and lead the in-house designer to produce best-in-class creative that delivers impact.

Manage creative workflow, including communication with the designer, deadlines, priorities and contact with key stakeholders.

Research emerging design trends for graphic design and content.

Manage Ronnie the Rhinos' digital platforms (X and Instagram).

Become a key member of event staff on match days, members events and pop-up activations.

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 3 days a week to be worked on-site at AMT Headingley Stadium.  The role will require successful applicants to be flexible with working hours including all match nights and potentially other weekend or evening work.

The salary for this position is 30k to 35k depending on experience.
