Orla McCallion is set to make her first appearance with Leeds Rhinos Women since 2022 this Sunday when Lois Forsell's team compete in the Women's Nines competition at Warrington's Victoria Park.

McCallion has been out of action for almost two years after an operation for compartment syndrome, but is back in the squad this weekend as the Rhinos look to qualify for the Finals.

Forsell has also brought in a number of the club's young stars from the Academy, including Grace Short and Lily Thompson from Oulton Raiders, Faye Barraclough from Dewsbury Moor, Angel Bentley from Illingworth, Tilly Brown from Fryston and Tilly Davies from Stannigley.

Jenna Greening who made a try-scoring comeback from injury last week is also in the squad along Evie Cousins, who will be aiming to continue her impressive scoring run of six tries in three games.

Group Draw

Here is how this year's teams have been split into four qualifying groups. All eight Betfred Women's Super League sides will be involved, plus Leigh Leopards, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils have qualified from the Championship North, and London Broncos and Cardiff Demons are in from Championship South. Widnes Vikings from League One as well as Telford Raiders and Leamington Royals, who represent the Midlands.
