Saturday afternoon sees Leeds Rhinos Reserves take to the field at Stanningley as Tony Smith's side look to get back to winning ways against London Broncos, kick off 5pm.

The Rhinos have one win in four Reserves games so far this year after losing out to Hull KR a fortnight ago. Leigh and Warrington have also taken points off Leeds in the opening two months of the season, but an impressive win over St Helens saw Tom Nicholson-Watton, Riley Lumb, Ned McCormack, Jack Sinfield and Harrison Gilmore all score tries to help the visitors to Ruskin Park come away with a 30-22 win.

Despite results, the Reserves competition has been a valuable testbed for some of the club's next generation of talent to get minutes ahead of playing in the Betfred Super League. After Alfie Edgell and Tom Nicholson-Watton's debuts last year, Ned McCormack and Lumb have made the step up to Rohan Smith's side in recent weeks; Lumb in particular scoring two tries on his debut against Hull FC. Littlewood is also waiting in the wings, having been included in a number of 21-man squads in 2024.

London come into this weekend's game with two losses and a draw after three games against Bradford, Wigan and Huddersfield. The Broncos opened the season by drawing with reigning Champions Wigan at Rosslyn Park, but losses to Huddersfield (76-0) and Bradford (48-0) now sees the club sit eleventh in the table, one spot behind the Rhinos.

Last time out

The last time the Rhinos met London in the Reserves competition was 2022, when a hat trick from Mackenzie Turner led the scoring in a 40-20 win in the capital.
