Rhinos and Broncos meet again 25 years on from Wembley showdown
Next Wednesday, 1st May, will mark 25 years to the day since Leeds Rhinos and London Broncos met in the last ever Challenge Cup Final at the old Wembley Stadium.
Fittingly 48 hours later the two sides will meet once again in the Betfred Super League at AMT Headingley and we would like you to join us in celebrating the anniversary.
Graham Murray's side ended a 21 year wait to lift the Challenge Cup when they defeated London Broncos at Wembley ended a remarkable Cup run in glory having defeated Wigan, St Helens and Bradford on their way to the capital. Leroy Rivett won the Lance Todd Trophy for his then record four tries in the 52-16 win.
Send us your 1999 Challenge Cup memories and we'll share them with supporters next week to mark the anniversary. Click here and send us your special thoughts and if you have photos from the day, even better!
