What's on this week

This week, five matches involving five Rhinos sides include huge games for both Leeds Rhinos Netball, who are in action at the first direct Arena against reigning champions Loughborough Lightning, and Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair as James Simpson's side look to progress to the Wheelchair Challenge Cup semi finals.

Both the men's first team and Under-18s Academy head over to Hull to take on the black and whites over the course of the weekend, whilst Leeds Rhinos Women look to build on last week's opening round win back at AMT Headingley on Saturday.

Saturday 27th April

Leeds Rhinos Women vs Warrington Wolves Women

After going straight to the top of the Betfred Women's Super League table with a 66-4 win in round one, Leeds Rhinos Women are back at home on Saturday to take on Warrington Wolves at AMT Headingley, kick off 12pm.

Lois Forsell's side couldn't have asked for a better start to the 2024 league campaign as hat tricks from Zoe Hornby, Lucy Murray and Evie Cousins helped them beat Huddersfield in front of a home crowd. Saturday's opponents Warrington also opened their season with a 34-28 win over newly promoted Featherstone Rovers but face a Leeds side that beat the Wolves in the Challenge Cup quarter finals a fortnight ago.

Tickets for the Women's game are priced at £10.00 for adults and senior citizens and can be bought here. Saturday's game is part of a double header at the stadium that also sees Leeds Tykes in action against Sheffield at 3pm.

Hull FC Under-18s Academy vs Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy

Before the first team head to Hull on Sunday, Leeds Rhinos Under-18s take on Hull FC on Saturday at the University of Hull, kick off 12pm.

The young Rhinos won their last trip to Hull in 2022 as they claimed a 28-16 result, but Hull came out on top at Stanningley last season. The black and whites come into this weekend's game with two wins from their first three matches, whilst the Rhinos look to get their first win of the season.

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair vs Hereford Harriers Wheelchair

Challenge Cup quarter final action sees Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair take on Hereford Harriers on Saturday as both sides look to take a step closer to the final at York St John University, kick off 1pm.

James Simpson's Leeds side have a good history in the competition, notably winning the Cup in 2019, 2021 and 2022, but they enter this year's competition looking to avenge last year's defeat in the Final to Catalans Dragons. Hereford qualified for the quarter-finals with a closely contested 17-16 win over Edinburgh Giants in Manchester, that saw a drop goal in golden point seal the Challenge Trophy and a place in the last eight.

Sunday 28th April

Hull FC vs Leeds Rhinos

Round nine of the Betfred Super League sees Leeds Rhinos head to the MKM Stadium for the first of two visits in 2024 as Rohan Smith's side takes on Hull FC, kick off 3pm.

Although both sides enter Sunday's game off the back of defeats last time out, there have been plenty of tries scored in this fixture in years gone past; Sam Lisone's hat trick last year and Ash Handley's five tries in 2022 were highlight occasions for the Rhinos.

Tickets and travel for the game are available to purchase online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, over the phone on 0371 423 1315 and from Leeds Rhinos Club Shop (Opening Hours) now.

Advanced prices start at £30 for adults, £23 for concessions and £12 for juniors, and travel from AMT Headingley Stadium at 12noon is priced at £18 per person.

Leeds Rhinos Netball vs Loughborough Lightning Netball

Back in Leeds, Sunday is a huge day for Leeds Rhinos Netball as they run out at the first direct Arena against Loughborough Lightning, FCP 4pm.

Sunday will be the third time in the franchise's history that the Rhinos have played at the Arena, after playing Wasps and Saracens Mavericks at the venue in 2022 and 2023. Liana Leota's side come into the Lightning fixture off the back of a win last time out against Strathclyde, which moved the Rhinos up to seventh in the league table, whilst the reigning Super League champions Loughborough managed to fend off Mavericks in a 68-60 win last week.

Tickets are still available for fans to buy now, starting at £19.95 for adults and £14.95 for juniors. CLICK HERE to buy tickets or VIP packages. The game will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer under the Sport category.
