What's on this week

Although the men's side are not in action this week, there is plenty on the line for Leeds Rhinos Women, who look to take the next step on the road to the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup when they face Warrington Wolves in the quarter finals on Saturday lunchtime.

Leeds Rhinos Under-18s are back at AMT Headingley as they take on Wigan Warriors on Thursday night, plus Netball action sees the Rhinos Super League side take on Manchester Thunder on the road.

Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy vs Wigan Warriors Under-18s Academy

AMT Headingley plays host to the latest Academy instalment between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors as the clubs go head to head on Thursday night, KO 7pm.

Tony Smith's side look to claim their first win of the Academy season, having lost out to Castleford Tigers and St Helens in their opening games, whilst Wigan enter the game off the back of a 12-10 win over reigning Academy champions St Helens.

Entry for the game is a cash donation to Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Leeds Rhinos Women vs Warrington Wolves Women

Saturday lunchtime sees Leeds Rhinos Women and Warrington Wolves Women go head to head at AMT Headingley in the quarter finals of the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup as they look to book their place in the final four, kick off 12pm. 

The Rhinos finished their group stage with a perfect three wins from three, capped off with a 54-10 win against Huddersfield last Sunday, whilst the Wolves finished second to St Helens as they lost out 58-6. The fixture is the third time that the two sides have met at the quarter final stage, with the Rhinos winning both previous meetings in 2019 and 2022.


Manchester Thunder vs Leeds Rhinos Netball

Off the back of their win against Team Bath last Friday, Leeds Rhinos Netball cross the Pennines this week to take on Manchester Thunder at the Belle Vue Arena, FCP 5pm.

The 67-51 win over Bath moved the Rhinos up to seventh in the league table and into the range of Cardiff Dragons and Saracens Mavericks, who are both only one point ahead of Liana Leota's side. Thunder bounced back from their only loss of the season to Loughborough with back to back wins over Team Bath and Saracens last time out and are undefeated against the Rhinos since 2021.

Tickets are available to buy now here, with prices starting from £12 for adults, £10 for juniors and £40 for family tickets (2 adults + 2 children). The game is also available to watch live on BBC Sport.

Leeds Rhinos Netball Pathway

Saturday also sees the Rhinos Netball Under-21s, Under-19s and Under-17s also take to the court, all at the University of Nottingham's David Ross Sports Village.

The Under-21s are first up against Severn Stars at 11am, before the Under-19s take on the same opponents at 12.45pm. The Under-17s round off the day against Loughborough Lightning at 4.15pm.
