Smith free to face Wolves on Friday

Leeds Rhinos captain Cameron Smith has successfully appealed the grading of his charge by the Match Review Panel

Smith, along with General Manager Matt Cook, attended a RFL Disciplinary hearing on Tuesday night and successfully argued that the charge should be downgraded from Grade B to Grade A.

Having been found guilty of the Grade A charge, Smith received a £250 fine but he will be free to lead the team on Friday against Warrington Wolves at AMT Headingley.

The Rhinos and Wolves have both won four of their opening six games so far this season and all is set for a huge clash on Friday night. Book your ticket now at tickets.therhinos.co.uk
