What's on this week

There's plenty of action for our Rhinos sides over the coming week, kicking off with the Scholarship on Wednesday night and ending with our Women's side looking to continue their great start to the new season.

Betfred Challenge Cup action sees the Rhinos meet Saints at AMT Headingley in one of the picks of round six on Friday night, before the two clubs meet again in the Reserves competition on Saturday. On the Netball front, Liana Leota's side are also in action on Friday as they play London Pulse in front of a sold-out Allan Sports Centre.

Friday 22nd March

Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens

A repeat of last week's Betfred Super League clash sees Leeds Rhinos and St Helens clash at AMT Headingley in round six of the Betfred Challenge Cup on Friday night, KO 8pm.

Both clubs have a long-running history in the Cup and meet in the competition for the first time since 2021, when Saints claimed a win on the way to lifting the Cup. The Rhinos look to make it into the last eight since they also achieved Wembley glory in the 2020 season.

Tickets for the game are available to buy either online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, over the phone on 0371 423 1315 and also from the Leeds Rhinos Club Shop at AMT Headingley Stadium (CLICK HERE to check opening hours before travelling). The game will also be available on the BBC Red Button.

Leeds Rhinos Netball vs London Pulse

Friday night also sees Leeds Rhinos Netball in action as they head to Hull's Allam Sports Centre to take on London Pulse, FCP 7.30pm.

Both sides look to get back to winning ways after defeats last week to Loughborough Lightning and Severn Stars. Former Rhinos Jade Clarke and Brie Grierson are set to face their former club too as Liana Leota's side look to get win number two of 2024.

Please note that tickets for the fixture have sold out. The only way to watch the action is on Sky Sports via the app.

Saturday 23rd March

St Helens Reserves vs Leeds Rhinos Reserves

Round two of the Reserves grade sees the Rhinos head on the road again to take on St Helens Reserves at Ruskin Park on Saturday, KO 6pm.

Tony Smith's side suffered a defeat against Leigh Leopards in the opening game of the season, but the young Rhinos get the chance to continue their development away from the first team with challenges against Saints and Warrington in the next fortnight.

Saints put 62 points passed Salford in their first game of the year as they aim to bounce back from disappointment in the Reserves Grand Final in 2023. That win currently puts Derek Hardman's side at the top of the Reserves league table.

The address for the game is: Ruskin Drive Sports Facility, WA10 6RP. Entry is free for all supporters.

Wigan Warriors Wheelchair vs Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair

As our Wheelchair side prepare for the season ahead, James Simpson's team play their third and final friendly of pre-season against Wigan Warriors on Saturday at Robin Park Arena, kick off 1.45pm.

The game is a repeat of last year's Grand Final, which saw the Warriors come out on top to lift their first domestic silverware. The game will also see the Reserves wheelchair sides in action too at 3pm at the same venue.

Leeds Rhinos Netball NPL Fixtures

Friday and Saturday sees Leeds Rhinos Netball Performance Teams take to the court.

Friday night sees the Under-19s take on London Pulse at University of Huddersfield, FCP 5pm, before the Under-21s face Pulse on Saturday, FCP 2pm. The Under-17s are also in action as they take on North East Phoenix on the road on Saturday.

Sunday 24th March

Hull KR Women vs Leeds Rhinos Women

Leeds Rhinos Women look to continue their positive start to their Betfred Women's Challenge Cup campaign as they head to Sewell Group Craven Park to take on Hull KR on Sunday, KO 2pm

The Rhinos put on a convincing display against Leigh Leopards in their opening game of group four, Zoe Hornby leading the scoring with two tries in the 52-4 result. This week's contest against the Robins, who lost out 74-0 to Huddersfield Giants in their first Cup clash of the year, will be the first official meeting between the two clubs in any competition as well.
