Local company help Leeds Rhinos inspire young fans

Leeds Rhinos have teamed up with local business Redcentric to give the opportunity for 3,000 adults and children to attend games across the new 2024 Super League season.

Redcentric, looks to empower organisations with innovative and reliable managed IT services that enable them to achieve their goals and succeed in today’s digital landscape.

That innovative approach has led to the partnership with Leeds Rhinos as the two organisations look to remove some of the barriers that many families face in being able to attend high quality sporting events; and allow them to make memories and enjoy special times with their families.

Redcentric, and their partners, are sponsoring 1,500 adult and 1,500 child tickets for Rhinos Super League matches at AMT Headingley Stadium throughout the 2024 season. These will be given to local schools, who the club and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation work with, to pass onto children and families who are in receipt of free school meals/from low income families.

The club, in partnership with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, is currently working with more than 120 schools from Leeds and surrounding areas. Schools who are not currently involved can email ian.wilson@therhinos.co.uk for further details.

Kieran Brady, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Redcentric, commented, “As a local lad who grew up in Harehills Leeds, myself and my friends came from low income families with limited opportunities to watch live professional sport. Since starting work in my late teens I have watched the Leeds RL (now Leeds Rhinos) and have been continually inspired by great team and individual performances that created memories which have stayed with me for decades.

“I am therefore delighted that Redcentric is able to partner with Leeds Rhinos and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation to bring children from low income families to watch and be inspired by the Rhinos. We have a unique opportunity to transform young lives through the power of sport and as well as creating unforgettable memories we may be laying foundations for the next Lois Forsell, Caitlin Beevers, Mikolaj Oledzki and Cameron Smith.”

Ian Wilson, Schools and Leeds Engagement Lead at Leeds Rhinos added,  “We are extremely grateful to Redcentric, and their partners, for the amazing support they have given to our schools programme; in particular to enable children and families who may not have had the opportunity to attend a Rhinos match before to experience the unique atmosphere of AMT Headingley Stadium.

“Our schools programme, in partnership with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, is ever growing and in 2024 we expect more than 25,000 children and young people to benefit from the various programmes that we run. We look forward to welcoming thousands of children and their families to AMT Headingley this season and create lifelong memories with their families.”
