Rhinos to take on Robins in Donaldson testimonial

Leeds Rhinos will take on Betfred Super League rivals Hull KR in their final pre-season game on Sunday 4^th February at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium in James Donaldson’s Testimonial match, kick off 2.30pm. 

Donaldson has been awarded a three month testimonial by the RFL for services to Rugby League having given outstanding service to Bradford, Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos since making his professional debut back in 2009. The forward is one of the most popular members of the Rhinos squad having originally arrived at AMT Headingley in 2019 on a one month trial. He has since gone on to win a Challenge Cup with Leeds and appear in a Super League Grand Final.

Commenting on his new deal and the testimonial Donaldson said, “I will always be grateful to Leeds for giving me the opportunity to come to this great club. I have gone on to win a Challenge Cup and appear in a Grand Final, and hopefully, there are more good times ahead for this exciting group of players. I moved away from my home in Cumbria when I was still at school to pursue my dream of playing Rugby League and, despite some ups and downs along the way, I still love playing the game.”

Tickets are on sale now online and are available to all fans from today at tickets.therhinos.co.uk. All areas of the ground will be open excluding the AMT East Stand seats which will be closed for this fixture.

There will be a member’s discount available which is £3 off the general match ticket price for adults and concessions and is available to Rhinos 2024 Season Members / Rhinos 2024 Flexi Members / Rhinos 2024 Supporter Members and will also be available for Hull KR 2024 members. Rhinos 2024 Season Members positions will not be held for this game.

The Member’s discount is valid until midnight the day before the game (please be aware this will be online if Club Shop and Ticket Office Phone Lines are closed) and tickets can be collected on match day or received as print at home tickets which can be either printed off or used on mobile phones at the turnstiles on match day (smartphones only). On match day all ticket prices will be general ticket price.

Junior tickets for members and non-members are priced at £5 for standing and £10 for seating – this is available both in advance and on match day.  Tickets for this match are available either over the phone on 0371 423 1315, online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or in person at Leeds Rhinos Club Shop. Depending on availability there will be an option to purchase tickets on the day – this will be communicated in advance of the match.
