Leeds Rhinos Foundation become an official charity partner of Leeds Run For All events

Leeds Rhinos Foundation is pleased to announce for the next three years they will be an official charity partner of the Run For All Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, Leeds Half Marathon and Leeds 10k.

The second Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on 12th?May, which will once again will begin and end at AMT Headingley Stadium. The Leeds 10k will take place on Sunday 23rd June. 

Leeds Rhinos Foundation has entered a team into the Leeds 10k for over 15 years and last year played a huge role in the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon which took place at AMT Headingley Stadium. A team of current and former Leeds Rhinos staff, stars and volunteers were part of a total of 7000 runners who participated in the race.

This year, Leeds Rhinos Foundation is inviting participants to sign up for any of the three events and details of the fundraising packages with exclusive benefits for those who join their teams have been announced.

 Funds raised will contribute to Leeds Rhinos Foundation achieving its purpose to change lives through the power of sport.  

Bob Bowman QPM, Leeds Rhinos Foundation CEO, said: “Launching the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon with Run for All in 2023 was an incredible highlight of the year and I loved taking part in what was an amazing challenge.

“For the inaugural event, we were astounded by the turnout of runners, with the large majority people running their very first marathon, in aid of fantastic charitable causes. We hope that this year, this number will grow, and as a result, the amount of money raised climbs significantly. 

“Our work supports an array of people in the heart of our community and specifically supports people in need. With your help, we can continue to change lives through the power of sport, whilst taking part in an amazing physical and mental challenge together.” 

Entry Packages 

There is a tiered entry and benefits system for the Rob Burrow Marathon, where runners will commit to fundraising an amount of money for Leeds Rhinos Foundation. Those who would like to take part in the Leeds Half Marathon will join the ‘Squad’ team entrants.  

Spaces are limited so the sooner you sign up, the better! Entries are free for each team.

Complimentary entry to the Run For All Leeds 10K on Sunday 23rd as part of the Run with the Rhinos Team (technical race top included).

Exclusive celebration event in the Leeds Rhinos Foundation Community Hub at a Leeds Rhinos matchday with Jamie Jones Buchanan MBE and a very special guest (complimentary tickets for you and a guest).

Exclusive access to front of the start line.

The magnificent 7 plaque will be unveiled in the Leeds Rhinos Foundation Community Hub on race day, featuring the first ever 7 to take part.

To secure a place, participants will be required to place a deposit of 10% of their fundraising target.

Runners can also sign up for our Run with the Rhinos team to take on the Run For All Leeds 10K on Sunday 23rd June HERE. Entry for the race is available for a £27 donation and there is a minimum fundraising suggestion of £50. Participants will receive a host of benefits for taking part in what will be an amazing day!
