Matchday Pack - Round Twenty Seven

The Betfred Super League regular season reaches its climax tonight as Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers clash at Headingley as one of six games taking place.

Ahead of kick off, here's everything you need to know about the clash:

Squad News Recap

Rhinos

- Sam Walters is set to make his final appearance for the Rhinos ahead of his move to Wigan next season. Walters missed last Saturday's loss in France against Catalans Dragons due to serving a one game suspension but he returns to the 21 man squad this week in place of the injured Leon Ruan.

- David Fusitu'a is set to make his 150th career appearance on Friday as the winger marks 31 appearances for the Rhinos. Most of his appearances (108) came over seven season at the NZ Warriors, plus he has nine caps for Tonga and two for New Zealand.

- Youngsters Alfie Edgell, Riley Lumb and Tom Nicholson-Watton are all included in the squad again whilst Liam Tindall could also make his final appearance for the club.

- The Rhinos are still without Aidan Sezer and James Bentley as they follow the return to play protocols following concussion whilst Richie Myler, Justin Sangare and Luis Roberts are ruled out through injury. Nene Macdonald is still unavailable for selection.

- Rhyse Martin has scored points in the Rhinos' last ten meetings with Castleford. His scoring streak against the Tigers began with a try and four goals in a 28-24 home win on 26 October, 2020.

Tigers

- One changes for the Tigers sees Kenny Edwards return to the squad after missing out at Wigan due to a head knock. It will be the forward's final game in black and amber before he officially retires at the end of the season.

- Friday's game will also be a farewell for Greg Eden, Jordan Turner, Nathan Massey and Suaia Matagi as the quartet leave the club at the end of the campaign. Eden in particular looks to round off the year as the Tigers' top try scorer in 2023 and has 17 tries in 20 games against the Rhinos.

- Tigers Academy full-back Fletcher included in the squad too as he could make his club debut.

- Former Rhinos Jack Broadbent, Muizz Mustapha, Alex Mellor and Blake Austin are all in with a chance of featuring against their former side.
