Matchday Pack - Round Twenty Five

Saturday afternoon sees two stalwarts of the Betfred Super League, Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors go head to head at Headingley Stadium with three rounds remaining, kick off 2.45pm.

Rhinos

- Rohan Smith makes two changes to the side that defeated Hull FC last time out. Corey Johnson is a welcomed return after missing the Hull trip, plus 2022 Academy Grand Final winner Riley Lumb comes in to potentially make his first team debut. 

- Luis Roberts drops out after suffering an ankle injury against Hull last weekend.

- Fresh from scoring his hat trick against the Black and White's, Sam Lisone can continue his latest run of form against the Wigan outfit. Tom Holroyd, who knows former Siddal team mates Tyler Dupree and Morgan Smithies well. The trio all represented England earlier this year in their win over France at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium.

- Full back Luke Hooley has also been in try scoring form of late, as he has three tries in as many matches.

Wigan


- One change to Matt Peet's side sees Tyler Dupree come back into the 21-man squad as Harvey Makin drops out. The former Rhinos Academy forward missed the home win over Salford but hasn't played Leeds since he joined the Cherry and Whites.

- Wigan's leading try scorer this season Abbas Miski looks to continue his scoring run this weekend. The Lebanese international has 11 tries in his last five games, including four against Hull KR at the start of the month in a 64-6 win.

- Super League's leading try assister Bevan French was a try scorer when Wigan travelled to Headingley in the Challenge Cup in May. Junior Nsemba and Jake Wardle also scored that day and are both included in the team.

- Cade Cust and Ryan Hampshire were both try scorers against the Rhinos Reserves last Sunday and are in contention to feature this Saturday.

When the Rhinos travelled to Wigan in Round 12, the visitors inflicted a 40-18 defeat on Wigan with a nine try performance. Harry Newman's two tries helped the Rhinos fight back from 14-0 down to go on and claim a resounding win, thanks to further scores from Liam Tindall, Cam Smith, Rhyse Martin, Richie Myler and Tom Holroyd.
