Wigan test next up for Rhinos Women

The final round of the Betfred Women's Super League regular season sees Leeds Rhinos Women host Wigan Warriors Women on Saturday afternoon at Headingley, kick-off 12.15pm.
This weekend's round of fixtures is the final run-out for all six teams before the top four sides enter the semi finals with hopes of reaching the Grand Final. Round ten sees the Rhinos and Warriors kick off the action on Saturday, before St Helens take on Warrington Wolves at the Totally Wicked Stadium and League Leaders' Shield winners York Valkryie clash with Huddersfield Giants on Sunday afternoon.
The Rhinos, who confirmed their place in the top four with a win last weekend, are now chasing a potential home tie for the semis after they downed Saints 34-22 with a great second half performance. The current league table has Lois Forsell's side a point behind the Red Vee, meaning that Leeds need Warrington to produce a shock result to avoid a trip back to the Totally Wicked Stadium. Saturday's fixture against Wigan is a repeat of the final game of the 2019 and 2021 season, which saw the Rhinos beat the Warriors 16-0 and 28-10 on home soil, plus earlier this season Leeds recorded a convincing 52-0 display at Robin Park thanks to eight different try scorers.
Wigan come into the fixture occupying the last semi final spot, which looks set to be theirs even if Warrington win this weekend. The Warriors have a far superior points difference to the Wolves, meaning that they will meet York Valkyrie for a place in the Grand Final.
This season has seen Kris Ratcliffe promote from within to grow the next generation of talent at the Warriors. Beri Salihi has enjoyed her second full season with the first team with three tries in all competitions at full back, whilst pivot Grace Banks has seven tries this season too. Anna Davies looks set to finish as the team's top try scorer for a second successive season as the centre sits on nine tries in 2023, plus fans also need to watch out for England international Vicky Molyneux, who is one of four Warriors to have played all nine league games.
