2023 so far...
Under the watchful eye of Matt Peet, Wigan Warriors are fighting at the top end of the Super League table again in 2023 with the aim of an Old Trafford return in October.
Victory last Friday against Salford pushed the Cherry and Whites to the top of the League table for the third time this season on points difference alone, but Catalans and St Helens are chasing hard to keep up the fight for the League Leaders' Shield.
After starting the season with a disappointing display against Hull KR in round one, Wakefield, Castleford and Leigh were easily beaten over the next two months, as well as top six competition Salford, Warrington, Huddersfield and St Helens, to put Peet's side up at the top of the table. May proved to be a tough month as despite a Challenge Cup win over the Rhinos, the Warrior lost every League fixture between rounds 11 and 15 to drop down to sixth, but a recent revival has put them back in the fight for silverware.

Abbas Miski's try-scoring antics has seen the Lebanese international score 11 tries in his last five games, including hat tricks against Leigh and Catalans, as well as four at home against the Robins. Bevan French, who has played between wing, full back and half back this season, has also kept up his try assists with 27 overall and 13 in his last eight games.
