Loan Watch: Turner continues try scoring run with Hurricanes

Last weekend saw Rhinos trio Toby Warren, Tom Nicholson-Watton and Mackenzie Turner take to the field in the Betfred Championship and League One as they continued their development away from Headingley.
Take a look at how they got on:
Oldham 10 Midlands Hurricanes 18
Winger Mackenzie Turner continued his scoring streak for Midlands Hurricanes in their final league fixture of the season.
As the regular League One season came to a close last weekend, the Hurricanes finished on a high with a 18-10 win over Oldham as they picked up their fifth win of the year. Turner's second half try gave Mark Dunning's side a twelve point lead, but they had to survive a late comeback from the home side close out the win.
Castleford's Jacob Hookem got a try and two goals too, along with a further try from Aaron Levy.
Newcastle Thunder 6 York RLFC Knights 20
Toby Warren made his third substitute appearance for the Knights since his return to the club against Newcastle in last Friday's 20-6 win over Newcastle Thunder.
The forward has made eight Championship appearances for the club since joining its EXCEL foundation programme and later got a move to Leeds at the end of 2022. He has played mostly in the Reserves for the Rhinos this year, alongside appearing for Andrew Henderson's side.
Tries from Will Jubb and two from Myles Harrison helped the Knights to victory in the North East, whilst Gideon Boafo provided the only response for Thunder. Off the back of the win, the Knights are in with an outside chance of making a Play-Off push as they sit ninth with 22 points.
Featherstone Rovers 36 Keighley Cougars 6
Reserves forward Tom Nicholson-Watton also featured off the bench for Keighley Cougars in their defeat to Featherstone Rovers on Sunday.
Like Warren, Nicholson-Watton has mostly played under Tony Smith in the Rhinos Reserves but earned the chance to play away from the club at Keighley in July. Last week's game was his fourth appearance of 2023 (all off the bench).
Sadiq Adebiyi was Keighley's only tryscorer at the Millenium Stadium, whilst two tries each from Mark Kheirallah, Gareth Gale and Connor Jones helped the Rovers close in on the League Leaders' Shield.
With four rounds to go, the Cougars look to avoid relegation as they sit five points ahead of Newcastle, who are currently at the foot of the table. Only points difference separates them from Swinton Lions too.
