Rhinos v Wigan clash moved to Saturday 9th September

With the race for the Betfred Super League Play-Offs hotting up, three fixtures from Round 25 will be broadcast live on the weekend of September 8-10.

The action will kick off on Sky Sports on Friday September 8, with a mouthwatering clash between two of the teams currently on course for a top four finish, when St Helens host Leigh Leopards – a repeat of the intense clash between the teams in the Semi Final of the Betfred Challenge Cup.

The following afternoon (245pm ko), the Sky Sports cameras will be at Headingley for the latest instalment of the classic Roses rivalry between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors – a match that is likely to be crucial for Leeds’s hopes of qualifying for the top six, and for Wigan as they jostle for the best possible position in the top four.

The Rhinos are awaiting confirmation from Wigan Warriors Women as to whether they will be willing to move the Women’s game to Saturday 9th September so we maintain a double header match day, however this is yet to be confirmed. The Womens game would kick off at 12.15pm if it did move or, if it remains on the Friday, will be a standalone fixture at Headingley Stadium. Please check the website for confirmation of this once the fixture is confirmed.

All season memberships will be valid for the new fixture date and all match tickets that have already been purchased / issued for the game will be valid for the new fixture date – for the avoidance of doubt no new tickets will be sent out. If fans who have purchased tickets are unable to attend the new date they can either exchange their tickets for match credit on their ticketing account which must be used before 31st December 2023 on either tickets or season memberships, or they can have a full refund. To action this, they must email tickets@therhinos.co.uk with their name, phone number and payment reference number which can be found on their tickets.

The final televised game in Round 25 is on Sunday lunchtime (1245pm ko), Channel 4’s Betfred Super League coverage returns as Salford Red Devils host Warrington Wolves – always a passionate local rivalry, which will be further stoked as both clubs battle for top six places.
