Matchday Pack - Round Twenty Three

Sunday afternoon sees Leeds Rhinos clash with Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith's Stadium in Round 23 of the Betfred Super League, kick off 3pm.
Ahead of kick off, here's everything you need to know about the clash against the Giants:
Squad News Recap
Giants
- Giants head coach Ian Watson has named the same 21-man squad as he did ahead of last week's defeat to Salford. Theo Fages and Will Pryce, who didn't feature against the Red Devils are in contention, but Jake Connor, Tui Lolohea and Olly Russell could occupy the halves spots.
- Former Rhino Lolohea looks for only his second win against his old club, having lost the last three and drawn one. This season, he is the club's fourth-highest try scorer with five tries.
- Forward Chris McQueen is in line to make his 250th career appearance against the Rhinos. Having played 78 times during three years in claret and gold, he also has over 160 appearances in the NRL with Wests Tigers, Gold Coast Titans and South Sydney, as well as one international cap for England and five Queensland appearances.
Rhinos
- Changes for the Rhinos see a number of players come in ahead of today's clash. James McDonnell and Corey Johnson are unavailable through injury, and Nene Macdonald has returned to Australia for a week to attend the birth of his child this weekend.
- Four players come in to fill in for the absentees, including Leon Ruan, Jack Sinfield and Alfie Edgell. All three players, along with Liam Tindall, featured in the Reserves fixture against Warrington last Sunday, alongside Luis Roberts and Derrell Olpherts.
- Harry Newman made his return to the team against the Wolves in round 22 and features against the Giants for a second time in 2023, having started at centre in the 18-17 win.
- Rhyse Martin, who could make his 100th Leeds appearance, has scored tries in the last three meetings with Huddersfield. The PNG captain touched down twice in the 54-0 win in round 16, and was a try scorer in both the 18-17 win this season and 18-14 result towards the end of the 2022 season.
