Rhinos Women kick off triple header this Sunday

Sunday's triple header of action at Headingley begins with Leeds Rhinos Women and Warrington Wolves Women going head to head as the climax of the Betfred Women's Super League Group One season draws closer, kick off 12.30pm.

After disappointment in last weekend's Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Final, the Rhinos are locked in on their final three league games and a potential run for a Grand Final spot. Lois Forsell's side sit in third place in the league table coming into this week's fixture and can increase the gap from Wigan and the Wolves, who sit on their tails in fourth and fifth.  Recent form backs the Rhinos to get the two league points on offer as they have two wins in the Women's Super League against Warrington and four wins in all competitions. They have also not conceded a point either in all four matchups and scored a combined 50 tries.

The Wolves have had a mixed first season back in the top tier of the Betfred Women's Super League. After walking through all the competition in the Women's Super League Group Two last season, they have proved stubborn against Wigan and Huddersfield in particular as the Wolves drew the opening game with the Warriors before beating the Giants in round three.  Heavy defeats to Leeds and Saints stopped Warrington's momentum before they came up eight points short against Wigan in their return clash. The Giants were defeated for a second time in round nine but with only Leeds and St Helens left, Lee Westwood's side will need a glimmer of hope to sneak into the top four.

Leeds on the other hand have a week's recovery before a clash with St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday 3rd September. Finally, the Rhinos close out the regular season against Wigan as a double header of action at Headingley on 8th September.
