What's on at Headingley this Sunday?

This Sunday’s Armed Forces celebration game against Leigh Leopards will see lots of activities around the stadium as well as two fixtures of Rugby League!
Gates open at 12pm with Leeds Rhinos women taking on Huddersfield Giants Women at 12.30pm, followed by the Rhinos men who face Leigh Leopards at 3pm.
Fans can also look forward to…
South Stand
Head down to the South Stand and meet the Support Battalion of the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick. Find out what it’s like to be a medic in the forces, with their interactive Medical Stand and get a picture with their military vehicle display unit.
The 609 West Riding Squadron of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force who were formed back in 1936 at RAF Yeadon, now known as Leeds Bradford International Airport, will be showing an audio-visual display of how they operate as a Force Protection Squadron specialising in Counter UAV!
There will also be the potential to see some decommissioned weapons, and speak to active serving members of the Squadron to get a real feel for what it’s like to be a part of our Armed Forces! Fans can also get a photo in their cartoon Spitfire.
Supporters can also say hello to the Support Battalion of the Infantry Training Centre Catterick, who are supplying a Gurkha Kit Stand.
Club Shop Courtyard
Grab a photo with the Fox Hound vehicle display from the Queen Own Yeomanry A Squadron before testing strength on our climbing wall!
Look out for the Cadets’ bucket collection raising money for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. ABF is the Army’s National Charity, who provide a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families. There is also a Just Giving page set up for online donations, CLICK HERE to donate now.
On Pitch
Take your spaces in the stadium bowl for a marching band performance from The Yorkshire Volunteers Band, then keep your eyes on the sky for the incredible parachute display performed by the Royal Logistic Corps Silver Stars Parachute Display Team.
We will also be welcoming Leeds Rhinos players who are current and past serving armed forces personnel, who will deliver the match ball.
Finally, to mark our Armed Forces fixture and to recognise the ultimate sacrifice made by our brave servicemen and women, the Last Post and a minute's silence will be performed just before kick-off.
After the game
There will be a live interview with a Leeds Rhinos player straight from the pitch on the podium in the South Stand concourse and the South Stand bar will remain open until one hour after the final whistle.
Leeds Rhinos Gold Members can head up to the Long Bar to meet the players after the game by showing their Gold Season Membership cards but passes can also be purchased for £5 from Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office transfer windows inside the ground next to the Club Shop.
