Join us in celebrating legends incredible achievements on Rob Burrow Day

On Friday 7th July, Leeds Rhinos will once again encourage everyone to celebrate Rob Burrow Day with this year focusing on Rob's achievements since his diagnosis with motor neurone disease.

The date of 7/7 is significant because Burrow wore the iconic seven shirt during his glittering career and the number has become synonymous with the fundraising effort in his name. 

The first Rob Burrow Day in 2021 was a huge success with the public able to thank Rob for everything he had done using the hashtag #ThankYouRob. In 2022, we turned the spotlight on the thousands of individuals who have been inspired by Rob. As people told us their stories using the hashtag #InspiredByRob.

For 2023, we are focusing on all the incredible things that Rob has already accomplished since his diagnosis, showing what the MND community can achieve not, as so often has been in the past, what they can not do. 

Throughout the day, Leeds Rhinos will pick out seven magic moments across our social channels to remind people of the wonderful things that Rob has been able to do over the last three and half years.

There are lots of ways the public can support the day from simply sharing their story using #RobBurrowDay on social media.
