Beevers and Hardcastle return for Wolves game

After becoming the 9s Finals Champions last week, Leeds Rhinos Women are back in action this Sunday against Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Women’s Super League 

Forsell has been given a boost with the return of England international Caitlin Beevers who comes back into the squad after suffering a shoulder injury in the Cup game against Giants back in April.  Amy Hardcastle who has missed the last two games is also in the mix to play against Wolves.

Jenna Greening is also named in the squad after missing the last three games due to being on duty with the army and Sophie Nuttall is back after being unavailable for the Nines due to a calf injury.

Elle Frain could make her 50th club appearance for the Rhinos. The back rower, who debuted in a 36-6 win over Featherstone in 2018, has won a Grand Final and a Challenge Cup over her six seasons in blue and amber and also has 14 tries to her name.

Sunday's game will also be part of the Warrington Wolves Foundation Festival Day which will be a celebration of activities of different variants of Rugby that they offer.  The day will include: 

- Family Mile Run - Cubs touch festival - Community Club Fixtures - Walking Rugby Festival - LDSL Festival - RugBees Show Case - Wheelchair Show Case - Wolfprint Show Case - WSL as the main event

For this game there will be no spectator tickets and a small entry fee of £2 for Adults U16s free. This game is a fundraiser for the foundation. 

Food Venders will be present for spectators – Super Bennies Food Emporium, 4Ts Brewery, White Lace Cakes and Val’s Ices (Ice Cream Van) plus the Primrose and Brew tuckshop.

No Dogs permitted in the grounds.
