Team News
Wolves 21-man Squad
- Daryl Powell has made a handful of changes to his squad ahead of the clash with the Rhinos. James Harrison's ban sees the forward drop out of the 21-man squad and young forward Adam Holroyd comes in. Holroyd last appeared in round two this season and also made his debut in the Wolves' round 24 clash with Leeds.
- 13 members of this week's 21-man squad appeared in the round one clash with the Rhinos at the start of the year. Except for Harrison, all six try scorers (Greg Minikin, Sam Kasiano, Matt Dufty, Danny Walker, Josh Thewlis, Daryl Clark) are included.
- George Williams is still unavailable with a hamstring injury, whilst Matty Nicholson continues to be sidelined after having rupturing a tendon in his finger.
- Stefan Ratchford and Ben Currie can both hit major milestones against the Rhinos. Ratchford needs eight points to reach 1,500 Super League points, whilst Currie is two tries away from 100 career tries.
Rhinos 21-man squad
- Leeds on the other hand welcome players back following the win over Huddersfield. Nene Macdonald has completed his return-to-play protocol to bolster the club's backline, plus Tom Holroyd is back too.
- Justin Sangare is the only player to miss out from last week, with Cameron Smith named despite going off against the Giants.
- Back rower Rhyse Martin can hit 1,000 career points against the Wolves if he scores 18 points. The PNG international has 758 points over five seasons in blue and amber, as well as 114 points for Canterbury and 110 points for his country.
- Leeds are still without the long term injured players Harry Newman, Zane Tetevano and Morgan Gannon.
