Leeds Rhinos Women take on Huddersfield Giants at Huddersfield YMCA this Sunday in their final group stage of the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup, kick off 2pm.

The Rhinos haven't been in Cup action since their 72-0 win over local rivals Bradford Bulls at the end of April, after their last fixture against Oulton Raidettes was called off and awarded a 48-0 win. Subsequently, Leeds lead their group on points difference alone as the quarter-finals stage approaches.

Sunday's opponents, Huddersfield, are familiar to the Rhinos having already played them in the league this year. Last year the Yorkshire rivals also went head to head in their opening game of the Cup campaign, which they won 38-8 thanks to two tries from debutant Georgia Roche, as well as Fran Goldthorp, Keara Bennett, Tasha Gaines, Shannon Lacey and Sam Hulme.  Earlier this year, the Rhinos came out on top in the Women's Super League when eleven different players scored tries for Leeds in an 80-0 result.

The Giants have played both of their Cup games in the group and are hot on the heels of Leeds for the spot in the quarter-finals. Lori Halloran, who faces her former club as head coach of Huddersfield, has helped guide her side to convincing wins over Oulton and the Bulls so far in the competition, but they face a tough test against the two-time Cup champions.

Against the Bulls last time out, a hat trick from Frankie Townend helped the Giants to a 32-12 result plus the half back added three goals as the leading scorer. The Giants also boast two new additions to their squad ahead of this week's clash as Kelly Morgan arrives from Harrogate Rugby Union and Ana Da Silva makes the step up from the club's Academy.
