Johnson looking forward to Nines competition
After spending time on loan with Featherstone, Leeds Rhinos Women's player Ella Johnson, is back this week with the Rhinos and looking forward to playing in the Nines tournament.
Rhinos group and fixtures
The Rhinos have been drawn in Group D along with Bradford Bulls (WSL Divison 2), Salford Red Devils (WSL Division 2) and Cardiff Demons (WSL South). All teams involved in Sunday's qualifying day have been seeded from one to four, with the five current WSL Division 1 sides (minus Warrington) being ranked as number one seeds.
Leeds are part of the afternoon session at Victoria Paek and kick off the action against the Bulls in the first game at 1.30pm. At 2.20pm, the Rhinos then face Salford before closing the day against Cardiff at 3.10pm.

Other teams to watch include last year's winners York Valkyrie (Group B), St Helens (Group C) and Wigan Warriors (Group D). WSL Midlands side Leamington Royals represents the Midlands as the league's only side. The Royals are one of five ‘invitation’ teams for this year's event, which now includes Cardiff, Newcastle Thunder, London Broncos and Workington Town.
Group A also has one space remaining after Catalans were a late withdrawal.

Play will run from 10.30am to 4pm with entry on the day free and much like last year’s event, the occasion will have a festival feel, including educational workshops focusing on the women’s game.
