Matchday pack - Round Twelve

Round twelve sees the Rhinos go on the road over the Pennines to take on Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium, live on Sky Sports, kick off 8pm.

Here is the matchday pack with all the info ahead of tonight's game:


Team News

Warriors 21-man squad

  • Two changes for the Warriors sees Cade Cust and Willie Isa come back into the squad in place of youngsters Tom Forber and Zach Eckersley.
  • Cust can make his first appearance since the round six win over Salford, while Isa returns from suspension.
  • England internationals Toby King, Jake Wardle, Harry Smith, Morgan Smithies, Ethan Havard and Kai Pearce-Paul are all named a fortnight after helping England to victory over France. King lines up against his edge-partner Ash Handley on Friday.
  • Jai Field, Brad Singleton, Mike Cooper and Kaide Ellis are the major players unavailable through injury.

Rhinos 21-man squad

  • Rohan Smith has been able to recall Derrell Olpherts and Luis Roberts are recalled to bolster the back line options. Olpherts has recovered from injury, suffered in round seven, to be in contention, whilst Roberts made a try scoring outing on dual registration with Bradford last weekend.
  • Try scorers Richie Myler and James Bentley are included, especially after Myler was cleared by the Match Review Panel alongside Harry Newman.
  • Mikolaj Oledzki and Nene Macdonald are closing in on their 150th career appearances. Oledzki has accumulated 117 of his in blue and amber, having debuted in 2017. Macdonald on the other hand has made appearances for seven different sides in Super League and the NRL, plus he has 15 caps for Papua New Guinea.
  • The Rhinos are without Jack Sinfield through concussion protocol and James McDonnell, who will miss the clash against his home town club.
