Reserves to make Headingley appearance this Friday

After waiting nearly a month, Leeds Rhinos Reserves are in action on Friday night as part of a double header of Rugby League action against Hull FC Reserves, kick off 5.30pm.
The Rhinos' last scheduled fixture against Hull KR was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, which halted a positive run of form for Tony Smith's side. Already this season they have beaten Bradford (48-0) and Castleford (46-10) at Stanningley in convincing performances but Friday's challenge against Hull FC is set to be a tough clash before the Rhinos go on the road against London at the end of the month.
Like the Rhinos, Michael Shenton's side have started the season unbeaten to sit at the top of the Reserves league standings with three wins from three games. The black and whites have scored over 50 points in all three fixtures, but last time out a hat trick from Mitieli Vulikijapani helped Hull to a convincing 60-10 result against Warrington Wolves.
Last season when the two sides met, a second half resurgence wasn't enough to get the Rhinos victory against Hull on the road. Mekhi Bridgeman-Reaney, Mackenzie Turner and Zach McSwiney added to Tom Nicholson-Watton's first half score, but the home side held out to take the 26-22 result.
