After surviving a late comeback to beat Castleford Tigers last time out, Leeds Rhinos Reserves return to action this Friday night as Chev Walker’s side face Warrington Wolves at Headingley Stadium, kick off 7pm.

The Rhinos are currently on a three match winning run in the Reserves competition, having claimed a 36-32 win over Hull KR at Stanningley, a 40-34 result on the road against Tigers and a 48-0 win over Wakefield, after Trinity were unable to fulfil the fixture. The Reserves become the latest Rhinos team to appear at Headingley as the club continues to showcase it’s developing talent at the infamous stadium. The Under-18s and Under-16s have enjoyed success already on the Headingley turf this season, as well as Leeds Rhinos Women last Friday night, and the Reserves finally get their turn on Friday night.

Friday’s opponents Warrington have three wins and two losses this season. The trio of wins came over consecutive games against Castleford, Bradford Bulls and Hull FC; the Wolves scoring a combined 132 points against the Yorkshire clubs. Outside back James Hartill leads the Wolves’ try scoring this season with six tries, three coming in the 68-6 win over Castleford, while Josh Thewlis, Ellis Longstaff, Matt Davis, Riley Dean and Connor Wrench are just a handful of first team players that have also run out on games this season.
