Following their huge win against Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos Women are back to action in the Rugby League Nines this Sunday at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Fran Goldthorp and Zoe Hornby who were both try scorers in the win against Wigan and are joint top try scorers for the Rhinos are both included in the squad as is the player of the match from that game Georgia Roche.

All three players are part of the England Performance Unit alongside Caitlin Beevers and Keara Bennett, who also crossed for a try in that win, and are also in the squad for the Finals.

Shannon Lacey, Jasmine Earnshaw-Cudjoe and Elle Frain all return for the Rhinos and Lois Forsell has also been able to call some of the club’s talented young players from the Academy.

Caitlin Casey and Evie Cousins both come into the squad from the U19s.  Casey plays for Oulton Raidettes and Cousins plays for West Leeds.

The teams taking part are Leeds, Huddersfield Giants, Catalans Dragons, York City Knights and Warrington Wolves. All the action kicks off at 10.45am and the final will take place after eight fixtures at 2.50pm.
