Scholarship return to action against Wakefield

Leeds Rhinos Scholarship play their fifth game of the season this Wednesday against Wakefield Trinity U16s at the Be Well Support Stadium, kick off 7.30pm.

Jayemm Oladipupo and Jack Purtill are set to make their debuts for the team.  15-year-old front rower, Oladipupo joined the Rhinos this year and has previously played for  Odsal Sedbergh and West Bowling.  Putill is a half back who signed for the Rhinos this season.  The Bolton born player is 15 and started playing with Leigh Miners Rangers.

Lloyd McEwan Peters, who has been an ever present this season and is the joint top try scorer alongside Harry Taylor with four, will captain the team.

Mark Butterill’s team have earned two big wins in their last two games against Hull KR and Bradford Bulls and Wakefield come into the game on the back of a defeat against Warrington.
