Rhinos Netball v Manchester Thunder – Fan Information

Leeds Rhinos Netball will play their next home game on Sunday 8th May against Manchester Thunder at the first direct Arena, FCP 4pm.

Here is all the essential information for fans ahead of the game.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE? 

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.rhinosnetball.co.uk up until 3pm on Sunday 8th May. Click through to the link for First Direct Arena games.

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS ON MATCHDAY? 

At the Box Office– Fans can purchase tickets at the First Direct Arena Box Office from 2pm-4.15pm on Sunday 8th May (subject to availability). Contactless payment can be taken with either a credit or debit card or using a smartphone. Cash is not accepted as payment at the Box Office.

Tickets are priced at £15 for Adults (including senior citizens and students) and £10 for Juniors (16 & under). All bookings are subject to booking & transaction fees. Babes in arms are welcome without a ticket however we recommend ear defenders are worn.

SEASON MEMBER’S CARDS

Season Member’s cards are not valid for access to this event – each season member has been issued a match ticket in advance of match day. Any questions should be directed to [email protected].    

SEATING  

Seating at the First Direct Arena is allocated and is chosen by fans upon purchasing. We ask that all fans sit in their allocated seat for the duration of the event which is detailed on their match ticket.  Gold Members were asked at the start of the season to make Leeds Rhinos Netball aware of any seating requests, in order to be allocated seating near friends/family who have purchased tickets. WHAT TIME DO DOORS OPEN? 

Access to the venue is via the fans entrance at the front of the arena. Doors will open at 3pm to fans. Fans will need to present their ticket in order to access the venue. Gold and Silver Member tickets will be issued in advance of the fixture, if you have not received your ticket please contact [email protected].

CAN I MOVE AROUND THE VENUE? 

Fans have been allocated a seat, which is detailed on your ticket. We ask all fans to use their allocated seat for the duration of the event when in the seated area. Food and drink concessions are available around the venue for fans to use during the event and access to these will be available throughout.

Please be aware that due to the Leeds Half Marathon taking place in the city centre there are road closures around the Arena. It is also likely that traffic will be busy in the city centre. We suggest all attendees review the information listed below, and allow plenty of time for their journey.

There are over 7,500 car parking spaces within a 15 minute walk of the arena.  The arena doesn’t have its own car park however there are lots of options nearby.

FOOD & DRINK 

The First Direct Arena has a number of concessions that will be open for fans on match day. The concessions serve a variety of drinks (soft drinks & alcohol) and snacks.  Fans are not permitted to bring their own food and drinks into the arena. The concessions will accept payment by credit / debit card or smartphone only. Please do not bring cash.

MERCHANDISE

We will have a range of merchandise available for fans to purchase at the venue – this is available using contactless payment only.

MATCH DAY PROGRAMMES / TEAMSHEETS

There will be no match day programmes or teamsheets available for this game. All up to date team news will be available via www.therhinos.co.uk or via our social channels (facebook, twitter and instagram)

CAN I BRING A BAG?

The First Direct Arena does not have a cloakroom or storage facility on site. Backpacks, holdalls, suitcases and any bag larger than an A3 piece of paper (approx. 35cm(w) x 40cm(h) x 19cm(d)) are not allowed in the venue.

Fans with accessible and medical requirements/equipment will be considered on an individual basis but encouraged to contact the venue in advance for ease of entry.

All remaining bags will be searched. All attendees will be asked to pass through a metal detector before entering the venue.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? 

Something Blue and Amber (if you are supporting Rhinos of course!)

SMOKING 

Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted in the venue. Anyone wishing to smoke or vape should do so outside the venue.

COVID-19 

Rhinos Netball would like to remind all spectators that they are responsible for ensuring that if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or anyone in their party is experiencing symptoms that they DO NOT travel to the venue on match day.

CLEANING 

Please ensure you continue to wash your hands regularly, and/or use the hand sanitizer provided. 

Leeds Rhinos will work with venue staff to continue to undertake cleaning of all public spaces including concessions and toilets throughout match day.

RESPECT OUR STAFF 

We ask that all visitors to the venue treat staff, officials and volunteers with respect and patience. Leeds Rhinos Netball staff and First Direct Arena staff have the right to remove any spectator who they believe is acting inappropriately so please be kind.
