Sezer and Austin set to start for Rhinos at Featherstone
Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Richard Agar has confirmed that he will field a strong side for this Sunday’s pre-season game at Featherstone Rovers with new signings Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer set to start in order to get all important game time together in the halves.
The Rhinos take on Brian McDermott’s Featherstone Rovers in a pre-season friendly on 16th January at the Millennium Stadium, kick off 3pm.
The game will be the team’s first of 2022 as they continue their preparations for the new Betfred Super League season which begins on 12th February.
Rovers will be hoping to go one better in 2022 having missed out to Toulouse in the Million Pound Game last season. It was a successful campaign once again for James Webster’s side having won the 1895 Cup at Wembley and finishing second to Toulouse despite playing seven more games than the French side and only suffering one defeat all season.

Tickets will also be available on matchday however, Featherstone Rovers are advising Leeds Rhinos fans to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment
