Leeds Rhinos Netball will compete in their first Fast 5 tournament on the 30th October at London’s Copper Box Arena with four new signings set to make their first ever appearance for the club.
Amy Clinton, Sigi Burger, Lydia Walker and Rebekah Airey, who all joined the Rhinos this season, have all been named in the squad for the return of the annual event which sees the top eight teams from last season compete in a fast paced short version of the game.
They will join Rhea Dixon, Sienna Rushton, Amelia Hall, Emily Hollingworth, Tuaine Keenan and Paige Kindred who all played in last year’s Vitality Netball Superleague Finals Weekend.
The tournament features 12-minute matches, an all-star 5-point line and a Golden Buzzer Power Play. Across a five-hour session the eight teams will play in a double elimination format; two wins and the team will advance straight to the semi-finals, two losses will result in being knocked out of the tournament with teams winning one and losing one of their opening matches playing a deciding match for a place in the last four.
