The clock is ticking towards Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final Day at the Emerald Headingley Stadium on Sunday – and supporters of the four clubs involved need to move quickly to snap up tickets in the special offer unveiled last week.
Wednesday at midday is the deadline for members or season ticket holders of Featherstone Rovers, Huddersfield Giants, Leeds Rhinos and St Helens to be rewarded for their loyalty with up to two free tickets – with a booking fee of £1.
The response to the offer has been fantastic, and a record crowd for a Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final is already guaranteed.
“We want to keep the momentum going to ensure a brilliant occasion at Emerald Headingley Stadium,” says Ross Alexander, the RFL’s Head of Marketing.
“There’s such a positive mood around Women’s Rugby League, as we’ve seen again with the response to the announcement of Jodie Cunningham’s award as the 2021 Woman of Steel – and it’s great to be able to confirm so early in the week that we’re going to have a record crowd for a BWSL Grand Final.
“Having the BWSL Grand Final at Emerald Headingley on Sunday afternoon, the day after the men’s Grand Final at Old Trafford, has proved a big attraction for Rugby League fans as the season comes to a close.
“With the BWSL Shield Final between Featherstone and Huddersfield kicking things off, it promises to be a real celebration of Women’s Rugby League.”
All members and/or season ticket holders of the four clubs should now have received an email from their club with a promo code to claim up to two free tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at £10 Adults and £5 U16s. Seating at the event is unreserved so members and/or season card holders can claim their free tickets separately and still sit together for all the action.
Any supporters who are members and/or season card holders of the four competing clubs and have already booked tickets should please email [email protected]to arrange a refund. To redeem the offer, they should then re-book online at eticketing.co.uk/rugby league using their promo code.
For fans who are not members and/or season card holders of the four competing clubs, match tickets are available to buy at £10 Adults and £5 U16s at eticketing.co.uk/rugbyleague.
