History to be made with Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final at Emerald Headingley
Fans have a chance to witness history in the making on Sunday 10th October when Emerald Headingley hosts the Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final between Leeds Rhinos and St Helens, kick off 3pm.
The game is part of a double header of Women’s Super League action with Featherstone Rovers taking on Huddersfield Giants in the first ever Betfred Women’s Super League Shield Final at 12pm, followed by the main event, the Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final at 3pm. Be there to cheer on all the teams for what’s sure to be a thrilling day of Rugby League action.
The Rhinos v Saints clash is the first time that a top flight Championship Final has been played at Emerald Headingley since 1968 when Wakefield beat Hull KR 17-10 to retain the Rugby League Championship they had won at the same venue a year before. That was only the seventh mens Championship Final that had been played at Headingley dating back to the first one in 1914 when Salford defeated Huddersfield.
