Rhinos Women name side to face Wigan Warriors

Leeds Rhinos Women take on Wigan Warriors in their final Play Off game this Sunday at Sports Park Weetwood, kick off 3pm.

The Rhinos made a winning start to the play offs last week, with a 28-6 win over Castleford Tigers, before beating York City Knights 14-4 in their second game. With 13 players ruled out either through injury or Covid last week, Lois Forsell was unable to field a team for the game against St Helens and we forced to forfeit the game and take a 24-0 loss.

Ahead of Sunday’s game Forsell has been able to bring in a new signing, who is set to make her debut. Elychia Watson, who has played for the Army and Huddersfield Giants has completed a successful trial with the club and the centre is in the mix to feature against the Warriors.

The players still unavailable are Tara Moxon, Amy Johnson, Paige Webster, Dannielle Anderson, Adahoa Akwiwu and Shannon Lacey through injury and Eloise Hayward who has other playing commitments with Loughborough.
