The last week has seen three of the Rhinos players who are on loan take part in games across the Betfred Super League, Championship and League One for Hull KR, York City Knights and Doncaster RLFC. Liam Tindall, Corey Johnson and Muizz Mustapha all continued their development away from the Rhinos in three intense matchups and you can find out how they got on below:

Liam Tindall

Having scored his first try for Doncaster against the League One leaders Barrow Raiders two weeks ago, winger/full back Liam Tindall got over the try line again last Sunday for Richard Horne’s side.

Against Workington Town, who are also in the play off picture this season, the Dons walked out 22-12 victors with Tindall scoring the try of the game. The full back, who was also awarded the man of the match, helped assist Tom Halliday for the centre’s second try, plus further scores from Aaron York and Liam Johnson helped Doncaster move up to fourth in the league table.

Corey Johnson

In the Championship’s game of the weekend, Corey Johnson ran out for York City Knights against local rivals Bradford Bulls at the LNER Community Stadium.

Headlining a double header that saw the Knights’ ladies team face the Rhinos in the Betfred Women’s Super League play offs, a win for the Knights would have improved their chances of a play off place but John Kear’s Bulls side proved too strong and ran out 36-18 winners, thanks to a hat trick from Rhys Evans.

Johnson started the game at half back, a position he has occupied for the last few weeks for the Knights, and produced another stellar performance over 80 minutes; notably assisting James Green just after half time as well as Ryan Atkins for York’s first try.

Centre Corey Hall missed out on the match but did feature for Chev Walker’s Under-19s side last Wednesday night against Wakefield Under-19s. Find out how they got on here.

Muizz Mustapha

Back in the Betfred Super League, forward Muizz Mustapha was back in action for Tony Smith as Hull KR chase a play off place.

Mustapha, who is spending the season on loan with the Robins, was brought back into Smith’s match day squad for Rovers’ 25-18 defeat to Wakefield at Hull College Craven Park and retained his place against Huddersfield, which also ended in defeat. At the John Smith’s Stadium, the substitute played six minutes, in which he made three carries for a total of 28 metres, made one tackle and offered one support in a difficult evening for Hull KR.
