Rhinos cleared of any further suspensions ahead of Dacia Magic Weekend

Leeds Rhinos have been cleared of any further suspensions ahead of Saturday’s crunch game at the Dacia Magic Weekend when they face play off rivals Hull FC.

Matt Prior was sin binned twice in the defeat at Wakefield Trinity on Bank Holiday Monday. In the fifth minute of the game, Prior was adjudged to have lifted the opponent’s leg which destabilised the tackle and Prior’s team mate went down with the opponent therefore no further action was taken.

Prior was then sin binned in the second half for his involvement in a melee in the 55th minute. The match review panel found that Prior became involved in a confrontation with Wakefield player Chris Green after a tackle but that neither player threw any punches.

The Rhinos have also confirmed that they will appeal the three game suspension handed down to Zane Tetevano from Leeds’ previous game at Wigan at the Disciplinary hearing on Wednesday evening.
