ON THIS DAY in 2001 Leeds played Warrington at home in the league. After losing out to Wigan Warriors in their last game, Daryl Powell’s team bounced back to to earn a 16-12 win over the Wolves.

Chev Walker, Keith Senior and Francis Cummins got the tries for the homeside and Rob Burrow, who was on kicking duty for the second time that season scored two goals.

It was a big win for the Rhinos in their final home game of the regular season as they aimed to end the campaign on a high going into the Play Offs.

ON THIS DAY in 2017 Leeds Rhinos secured their place in the Super League Grand Final semi final with a hard earned 38-26 win over Hull FC.

The visitors arrived at Headingley just five days after lifting the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup at Wembley and deserved immense credit for their part in an absorbing contest.

Leeds though came out on top though with tries from Rob Burrow, Liam Sutcliffe and Mitch Garbutt.

ON THIS DAY in 2012 the Rhinos got back to winning ways with a commanding 46-12 win against Salford City Reds at Headingley.

The Rhinos were desperate to get back on the field after the defeat at Wembley six days earlier and they put they responded in style with Rob Burrow, Ryan Hall, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Kevin Sinfield, Kallum Watkins, Ben Jones-Bishop and Weller Hauraki all on the scoresheet.
