Gale receives two game ban

Leeds Rhinos half back Luke Gale has received a two game ban from the RFL’s match review panel after being given a Grade B charge of deliberate or reckless physical contact with a match official.

The incident happened in the 25th minute of the game against Warrington Wolves on Sunday at Emerald Headingley just after the tackle by Richie Myler on Josh Charnley to stop the Wolves winger from scoring near the South Stand corner.

Gale has the right to appeal the decision and have the matter heard by the RFL Disciplinary, no decision has been made yet as to whether he will do that.
