Rhinos welcome back skipper Gale for Catalans visit

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Richard Agar is able to recall captain Luke Gale for this Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with Catalans Dragons at Emerald Headingley, kick off 7.45pm after he has completed his two game suspension.

Gale missed the wins over Leigh and Warrington last weekend but is back in contention for selection to face Catalans this week along with forward King Vuniyayawa, who has completed his return to play protocol after suffering concussion against Leigh Centurions. Also back available is Cameron Smith after a 10 day isolation period as a contact trace from a positive Covid 19 test from outside of the Rhinos camp. Richie Myler is included and could face his former club having missed the last two games with a hand injury.

Back Jack Broadbent is sidelined following the ankle injury he suffered in the first half of the win at Warrington.

Leeds are also without Richie Myler (finger), Zane Tetevano (Covid), Alex Sutcliffe (knee), Jack Walker (foot) and Harry Newman (leg).

Leeds Rhinos season and flexi members can watch Monday’s game live on the Our League app with full live coverage of the game plus the match will be on Sky Sports Arena, with coverage from 7.30pm.
