Places selling fast for 2021 Hall of Fame lunch

The 2021 Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Hall of Fame lunch, in association with Age Partnership, will take place at Emerald Headingley Stadium on Sunday 11th July.

The event was launched last month and there has been huge interest already with fans keen to come back together for an afternoon out together with friends and family to reminisce about the heroes of our glorious past and celebrate the club’s incredible heritage.

The event will celebrate two special anniversaries for the club with 2021 marking 60 years since the club’s first League Championship in 1961 and a decade since the Rhinos made history winning the Grand Final from fifth in 2011.

Invited guests include the 2021 Rhinos Squad and Team Management; Members of the 2011 and 1961 squads, including surviving players Lewis Jones, Derek Hallas and Vince Hattee and Hall of Fame Members.

Four new former players to be inducted into Hall of Fame, bringing the total to 20. These have been nominated by the Heritage Group for approval by the Club.

Lunch guests, which will include many former players stretching back over 65 years, will be invited to view the new heritage imagery in the North Stand changing room area between 11.30am and 12noon before all guests will be invited to attend the John Holmes Statue unveil in the South Stand car park at 11am by David Ward and Club President, Andrew Thirkill.
