Sirens and Wasps next up for Rhinos Netball in Vitality Netball Superleague double header

Leeds Rhinos Netball have a double header of netball coming up over the Bank Holiday weekend, with Strathclyde Sirens first up on Sunday 2nd May (2pm) followed by Wasps Netball on Monday 3rd May (7,15pm) , both at the Copper Box Arena.

Both games will be streamed live on and Monday’s game will be on Sky Sports Arena.

Last time out against

The Rhinos played Wasps and Sirens in Round 5 and 6 of the Vitality Netball Superleague and had mixed fortunes over the two games.

Leeds secured their third win of the season against Sirens a day after they were defeated by Wasps. In the game against Wasps the Rhinos suffered a 53-41 defeat, despite 11 goals from Rhea Dixon, three from Brie Grierson and 27 from Sienna Rushton.

The Sirens match the next day was a gutsy contest, and the the Rhinos bounced back from defeat to come out on top 43-36. Sienna Rushton was named the player of the match after scoring 36 goals.

This weekend’s games will not be covered on social media or streamed on YouTube as England Netball, Superleague, the Netball Players Association and Sky Sports are standing with football and the wider sporting community in taking part in a social media boycott from 15:00 on Friday 30 April to 23:59 on Monday 3 May.

The social media boycott is in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory online abuse targeted at professional athletes and others in sport, which will not be tolerated nor accepted in any part of our game.

The games however will still be available to watch on Sky TV and online, As part of this weekend’s coverage of the VNSL, our broadcast partner Sky Sports will broadcast all 10 matches of Round 13 & 14 on linear channels (across Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports Arena), as well as live streaming all games on the Sky Sports app and
