Manchester Thunder next up for Rhinos Netball

Leeds Rhinos Netball will play their northern rivals Manchester Thunder on Monday 12th April, CP 7.15pm. in the final game at Production Park in South Kirkby this season, before the Vitality Netball Superleague competition moves to the Copper Box in London.

Thunder sit in third place in the league and the reigning Champions have won eight of their ten fixtures this season. The Rhinos remain in sixth spot having lost their last game against league leaders Bath Netball. The last game between the sides did not disappoint with an entertaining and fierce contest in the first War of the Roses fixture.

Thunder are one of the most successful teams in the competition’s history, having won the title three-times and are tipped to make the top four and challenge for the title. Rhinos head coach Dan Ryan is a former coach at Thunder and current Rhinos Amelia Hall and Paige Kindred will also come up against their former club.
