Team Bath next up for Rhinos Netball

Leeds Rhinos Netball return to action in the Vitality Netball Superleague to face league leaders Team Bath for the first time.
Bath have been the form team of the competition so far, winning eight consecutive games before losing their first game of the season last week against Mavericks. Going into the last five minutes, Mavericks held a five-goal lead but Bath hit back to draw level at 38-38. In the end though Mavericks captalised on an error from Bath to grab a dramatic 39-38 in another entertaining Superleague game.
Team Bath are coached by Anna Stembridge and are the most successful side in Superleague history winning five Grand Finals. They won the the inaugural title in 2006 and are the only side in the league to have won every Grand Final they have appeared in.
They have a number of internationals in their squad including Roses players Serena Guthrie, who was a 2018 Commonwealth Game winner, Sophie Drakeford-Lewis, Imogen Allison and Layla Guscoth.
The Rhinos have won five of their opening nine games in the competition to put them in sixth place. This weekend they play their final two games at Studio 001 in South Kirkby before the competition moves to the Copper Box later this month.
