Play your part in helping support MND funding
Leeds Rhinos are supporting the drive from Scotland Rugby Union legend Doddie Weir and the MND Association for more debate in Parliament regarding funding for research into the disease that has cruelly struck down our own Rob Burrow.
On online petition is asking the Government to significantly increase targeted research funding for motor neurone disease (MND).
A new investment of £50m over 5 years could kickstart a pioneering MND Research Institute. This would lead to better, faster and more definitive research outcomes and hope for those with MND.
At 100,000 signatures, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament and there are now less than 10,000 signatures required to reach that milestone.
