ON THIS DAY in 2005 the Rhinos extended their unbeaten Super League run to 19 games against Salford City Reds. Leeds had made a great start to their season, scoring an average of 40 points per game and in this match Marcus Bai, Ali Lauitiiti, Barrie McDermott, Keith Senior and Rob Burrow ran in a try each to record a 30-12 away win.

ON THIS DAY in 2016 the Rhinos defeated St Helen 30-18 to notch up only their second win of the season. Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Adam Cuthbertson and Liam Sutcliffe gave Leeds a 16-0 lead after only 12 minutes.

Kyle Amor, Luke Walsh and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook put Saints ahead, before Carl Ablett’s try put Leeds a 22-18 half-time lead and the Ash Handley edged Rhinos further ahead.
