Dogcast goes global!

Brad Dwyer and Konrad Hurrell celebrate victory against Toronto.

Leeds Rhinos and Rugby League fans in general have been very kind in their appreciation of the podcast hosted by Brad Dwyer since the lockdown – ‘Dogcast’ – and now the Rhinos hooker is getting some national attention courtesy of the latest BBC Rugby League podcast.

Dwyer started the podcast when everyone headed into isolation and it has become a ‘must listen’ for fans ever since. He has spoken to Rhinos Head Coach Richard Agar, Leeds former stars Barrie McDermott, Kevin Sinfield, Chev Walker and Jamie Jones-Buchanan and ex-coach Tony Smith, team mates Cameron Smith, Konrad Hurrell and former team mates Ryan Hall and Tom Lineham.

Ahead of mental health week Leeds hooker Brad Dwyer talks with fascinating honesty about the effect a facial birthmark has had on his life and career, reveals the “strange” relationship he has with ex-teammate Ryan Hall and his faith in the power of gratitude.
