More Challenge Cup action for fans to enjoy this week

This week we continue to offer fans the chance to watch two games every day ‘live’ in full during the coronavirus lockdown with a focus on the Challenge Cup this week as the Rhinos would have been kicking off their Cup campaign this weekend in normal times.

THURSDAY

2.30PM – LEEDS RHINOS V HARLEQUINS RL 2006

Tony Smith’s Leeds Rhinos took on Brian McDermott’s Harlequins side in the 2006 Challenge Cup Quarter Final at Headingley.

7.30PM – Leeds v Featherstone Challenge Cup semi final 1995

Leeds were looking to get back to Wembley in 1995 having lost out to Wigan the previous year but they faced underdogs Featherstone at Elland Road in the semi final.

FRIDAY

2.30PM – Leeds v Rochdale Challenge Cup 1993

Leeds took on Rochdale at Headingley in the Challenge Cup in 1993 with Ellery Hanley leading the way for the home side.

7.30PM – Leeds Rhinos v St Helens Challenge Cup semi final 2003

Leeds Rhinos and St Helens met at Huddersfield in the 2003 Challenge Cup semi final and produced an all time classic Cup clash as they battled to see who would meet Bradford in the Final at Cardiff.

SATURDAY

2.30PM – Leeds Rhinos v Dewsbury Rams Challenge Cup 1997

The newly named Leeds Rhinos played their first ever home game at Headingley in the Challenge Cup Fifth Round against Dewsbury in February 1997.

7.30PM – Bradford Bulls v Leeds Rhinos Challenge Cup 2002

Leeds Rhinos took on newly crowned World Champions Bradford Bulls at Valley Parade in the first round of the Challenge Cup in 2002 as a new era began under Daryl Powell with a much changed squad in his first full season in charge.

SUNDAY

Leeds v Bradford Northern Challenge Cup 1994

Leeds and Bradford Northern met in an intense West Yorkshire derby at Headingley in the Challenge Cup fourth round in 1994 in front of a crowd of 16,000.

Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC Challenge Cup semi final 2000

Leeds were looking to get back to the Challenge Cup Final having defeated London a year earlier at the old Wembley. Bradford Bulls waited for the winners in the Final at Murrayfield in Edinburgh.
