Leeds Rhinos v Toronto Match Day Information

Leeds Rhinos are back in action at Emerald Headingley Stadium this Thursday 5th March to face Super League newcomers Toronto Wolfpack, kick-off 7:45pm. Rhinos will be looking to make it four wins in a row in the 2020 Betfred Super League. Here’s all the key information you need to know about what’s happening this match day! 

Tickets Still Available – Buy in Advance for Cheapest Price

Tickets for Thursday’s game are still available in all areas of the ground. There are still a handful of seats available in the North Stand and South Stand starting from just £32 for adults, £25 for concessions* and £20 for juniors (16 and under). Try out the new, modern seats and enjoy uninterrupted views of the pitch. 

Alternatively, if you’d like to soak up the atmosphere of the terraces, standing tickets are available in the South Stand Terrace, Extentia Terrace and Western Terrace. Tickets for the terraces start from just £24 for adults, £16 for concessions* and £12 for juniors (16 and under) if you buy before midnight on Wednesday.

Match Day Entertainment

Following on from last week’s match day entertainment, we’ve got even more live music for you in the form of the Official Kasabian Tribute Band, Kazabian. They’ll be performing on the pitch from 7:15pm to help build up to the game, so be sure to take to the stands early. 

As well as this, we’ve got loads of other free pre-match and half-time entertainment planned for match day! We’ll have live buskers, a caricature artist, balloon modellers and face painters dotted around the ground too, with everyone’s favourite mascot Ronnie the Rhino up to his usual game day antics. Plus, there will be a pyrotechnic light show as the players make their way onto the field. 

We’ll also have children from community clubs and schools joining us for all our pre-match activities. The clubs will be welcoming our teams onto the pitch and participating in the match day experience as player escorts, flag bearers and guard of honour. 

At half time keep an eye out on the pitch as for our brand new half-time game, featuring The Biff Bros. Three new contestants will be taking on the challenge to see if they can knock the current leader off the top spot for the chance to win the ultimate Rhinos Fan Package!

Children from West Leeds Eagles, Methley Warriors, Chapeltown Cougars, Thornhill Trojans, Bramley RL, Kippax Welfare and East Leeds will also be playing small-sided games on the pitch at half-time. 

Please be aware that throughout match day there will be use of pyrotechnics, flashing floodlights, special effects and flash photography used.

Blue & Amber

Make sure you look out for this week’s Blue & Amber. It’ll be filled with all the latest club news and player content. The programme is priced at just £3 and is available to buy from sellers around the ground (cash only), including the Club Shop and the Ticket Office (cash and card). 

Can I Pay on the Day?

If you get your ticket for Thursday’s game before midnight tonight, you’ll be able to guarantee your place at Emerald Headingley Stadium for the cheapest price, saving £3 on match day prices. 

If you miss the advance ticket deadline, you can come along on match day and pay on the gate. We’ll have cash turnstiles on St Michael’s Lane and Kirkstall Lane for entry to the Extentia Terrace or Western Terrace. 

Please note, there will no cash turnstiles in the South Stand. However, if you’d like to buy a seated or terrace ticket for the South Stand on game day, you can do so from the Ticket Office on St Michael’s Lane right up until kick-off (subject to availability). 


After the final whistle, be sure to stick around as all fans are invited to join us in the South Stand Concourse where the entertainment will continue. We’ll be taking over the South Stand Podium to bring you interviews with both playing and non-playing players. Plus, there’ll also be some great drinks deals at the bar!

The Extentia Café Bar and Gold Members

The Long Bar is currently closed for refurbishment. However, whilst this is taking place Gold Members are invited to join us in the Extentia Café Bar following the final whistle. After the match, the Extentia Café Bar will be open for relevant pass holders only. Pre-match, it will continue to be a public bar. There will be player and coach interviews, as well as opportunities to be meet and get photos with the full first team. Not a Gold Member? At just £25 for the season, it’s easy to upgrade your membership. Simply call the Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315 to upgrade or for more information. 

Food and Drink

There will be food concession vans in and around the ground, but if you’d like to sit down and eat the Extentia Café Bar will be open before the game.  

All bars in the ground will sell Wilson’s pies and pasties and confectionery. All bars accept both cash and card. Bars and Food Concessions are available in the following areas: Under the Cricket West Stand, North Stand First Floor Concourse, South Stand Concourse, South Stand Car Park, Extentia Stand Upper Concourse, Extentia Café Bar and next to the Club Shop.

Starting on Thursday, our retail partners Elite Pro Sports will be offering you 25% off all leisurewear in-store and online. Fans will have until 5pm on Saturday 7th March to buy in store and midnight on Sunday 8th March to buy online. 

Fan’s Phone

The Fan’s Phone allows you to report any issues anonymously and to ensure fans don’t feel in danger by visibly reporting issues to stewards. Should you need to report anything on match day, please us our fan’s text line number 07500 312 382 (texts are charged at standard network rate). Please provide as much detail as possible about the problem and your location to allow stewards to monitor the situation and act where necessary. 

North Stand Access Information

If your ticket is for the North Stand, you can access the ground via the St Michael’s Lane turnstiles (Gate B) or the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles (Gate G). Please note, you can’t use the South Stand turnstiles (Gate E). 

To access the North Stand, you’ll enter the stand at ground floor level and go underneath the stand which is the main access route in and out of the stand. There are two staircases in the centre and a lift towards the end of the North Stand closest to the Western Terrace on the ground floor to access the first floor concourse. Please note, there is no longer access across the front of the North Stand. 

All bars and toilets are situated on the first floor and you will access the seated area from this concourse – directional signage with a range of seat numbers will indicate which vomitory you should use. You will enter the seated area at row K. Stairs lead to all rows and the rows range from row A (front of the seated area) to row U (back of the seated area). Only supporters with tickets for row A can use the walkway in front of the seats however must access the row via the first floor concourse – you cannot access via the front corners of the stand. 

South Stand Access Information

If your ticket is for the South Stand, we recommend using either the South Stand turnstiles (Gate E) or St Michael’s Lane turnstiles (Gate B). 

You can enter the stadium via the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles (Gate G), however you will be required to walk underneath the North Stand to the St Michael’s Lane side of the stadium and round the back of the Extentia Stand to access the South Stand. Please note, there is no access via the Western Terrace. 

Further Turnstile & Access Information

Remember only South Stand members and match ticket holders can use the South Stand turnstiles, whilst the St Michael’s Lane and Kirkstall Lane turnstiles allow access for all members and match ticket holders. 

All fans are welcome to use the facilities in the North Stand and South Stand concourses on match day even if they don’t have a valid ticket for that stand. Tickets will be checked on entry through the vomitories to the stands, so please note that there’s no access to the seats (North or South Stand) or the South Stand Terrace without a valid match ticket for that area. 

Bag searches are in operation at all turnstiles and bags must be no larger than an A4 piece of paper. So you know what you can and cannot bring into the stadium please CLICK HERE .
